Who we are

Sayvur (operated by LocalFind) is a local e-commerce platform connecting shoppers with neighborhood vendors. 100% of listing fees are donated to local schools.

What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform:

Account information — name, email, and password (hashed) when you register as a shopper or vendor.

Location data — vendor business addresses (entered manually). Shopper location is used only in-browser for distance-based sorting and is never sent to our servers unless you explicitly share it.

Transaction data — token purchases and order history, processed securely through Stripe. We never store full credit card numbers.

Usage data — page views and interaction events (e.g. deal clips, searches) to improve the platform. This data is anonymized and aggregated.

Browser storage

We use your browser’s localStorage (not cookies) to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and store preferences like your selected school. This data stays on your device and is never sent to third parties.

Error reporting

We use Sentry to detect and fix bugs. When an error occurs, Sentry receives the error message, the page URL, and basic device information (browser type, screen size). It does not collect personal data like your name or email. You can opt out of error reporting by selecting “Essential only” on the consent banner.

Payment processing

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of successful payments but never see or store your full card number, CVV, or billing details.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Data is shared only with service providers essential to operating the platform (Stripe for payments, Sentry for error monitoring, SendGrid for transactional emails).

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion of your account. Contact us at privacy@sayvur.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children’s privacy

Sayvur is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via an in-app banner. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
